Mary-Katherine grew up in Espanola, Ontario before moving to Sudbury to complete her post-secondary education. She completed a Bachelors of Arts degree in Sociology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law and Justice, both from Laurentian University before completing her Juris Doctor of Law from the University of Canberra in Australia. She has been with Paquette & Paquette since articling with them in 2018. Mary-Katherine is an associate lawyer practicing in the areas of civil litigation, wills and estates, family, and criminal law.

Mary-Katherine has worked in the adult and children's development sectors, and health sectors, which has provided her with additional experience that she brings to her practice of law. She is also currently the Executive Director of the Children's Community Network in Sudbury, where she oversees the operations of a non for profit children's agency.

Outside the practice of law, Mary-Katherine volunteers as a Board member of the Sudbury Nurse Practitioner Clinics and she also enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
